If you submit an incident report we will store your submission indefinitely. Ensure your submission does not include any personally identifiable information or those of others. Do not submit reports of any incidents that are subject to ongoing police or equivalent criminal justice investigation.

No personally identifiable information will be collected beyond your submission except for a tokenised version of your IP address, which has been securely hashed (similar to a password), for anti-spam purposes.

Because we do not collect any personally identifiable information as part of the submission process, we may be unable to delete your submission at a later date as we will be unable to verify that you were the original author of the submission without written evidence (which may include, at Lawful Survival’s discretion, a matching IP address at the time of submission or a carbon copy version of the text-based account).

We may include your submission as part of our growing body of statistics, which will be aggregated with submissions from other users.

We may publish text or video-based scenarios based on your submission from time to time, but these will never include any personally identifiable information from you or any other person mentioned in the submission. We will change names, locations and/or any other words or phrases that Lawful Survival believes (at its own discretion) could make the account become personally identifiable.

Our aim is to educate and your submission will help us to teach and inform others, but we will always do everything we can to protect your personal data.
