Control your fear. Protect your life. Defend your liberty.
We study real-world violence to learn the best strategies for managing and surviving violent incidents.
With this knowledge, we teach professionals, instructors and civilians the tactical, legal and psychological skills needed to face violence, while minimising the risk of injury, trauma, disciplinary or criminal charges.
We believe in an evidence-based approach to managing violence.
Our expertise in the field of violence and self-defence comes directly from the field, and from the input of operational professionals who face violence and violent offenders as a regular part of their working life.
We collect data from hundreds of violent incidents reported to us by contributors across many arenas.
This data, coupled with direct, front-line operational and instructing experience, has allowed our team to create a proven, reality-based framework for understanding and dealing with violence, which is now a go-to source of knowledge for police, SIA licensed professionals, instructors and civilians alike.
We present our knowledge in our courses, and in our books, Lawful Survival and Rules of Engagement.
